Award Nominations Deadline in January 31st
Each INDIVIDUAL member has the right to place names of members into nomination for the Awards listed below. A list of the candidates for all awards will be provided to the Awards Committee for consideration. The Awards Committee will verify that the nominees have fully met the criteria. The Awards Committee will select the best nominee for the Award.
AFFILIATE OF THE YEAR: is for an individual whom is employed by an Affiliate Member of the HomeTown Association of REALTORS®. It IS an individual whom is supportive and helpful to HAR and currently serves on at least one committee of HAR.
ROOKIE OF THE YEAR: The nominee for this award must have at least 15 transactions – listings taken and closed sales combined from the time of being licensed up to a period of 2 years in the business.
STAFF AWARD: The nominee for this award must be a staff member of a REALTOR® or an Affiliate’s Office. They should be a staff person that gives great service to the REALTORS® and/or Affiliates of HAR.
LAMPLIGHTER AWARD: This award was created in the memory of members Stephanie Chown & Dave Allen. The nominee must be a REALTOR® or an Affiliate member of HAR. They are defined as “You may not know them or ever see the, but their way has been marked by the lights they have left burning.” An all-around member that just makes you feel good about the real estate business.
COMMERCIAL AWARD: The nominee for this award must have at least 1 million in volume or 5 units in commercial real estate.
AGRICULTURAL AWARD: The nominee for this award must have at least 1 million in volume or 5 units in Ag Real Estate.
DEWITT OSGOOD AWARD: is for an individual that has a minimum of 3 years in the Real Estate business and has Association involvement and community involvement. The individual should have a relationship to, and respect from, fellow members and peers and must currently serve on at least one committee of HAR.
REALTOR® OF THE YEAR: is for a current REALTOR® member of HAR. They must be a REALTOR® that has provided outstanding service to both the Real Estate Profession and the community. They must have 1 million in volume or 15 units. The must currently serve on at least 1 committee of HAR.
